Who We Are
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. We rely on voluntary donations for 99% of our income, so without our volunteers, groups, associations and fundraisers we simply couldn’t do what we do. Cancer affects us all. We can all help. We are Macmillan.
We’ve set ourselves an impressive ambition – our primary goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Mcmillan Cancer Support are very proud to be Charity Partner for the Two Cities Boat Race 2010.
Events Calendar
Events help contribute to our fundraising activities and we have an exciting calendar of events coming up in 2010. Whatever you’re interested in doing, we’ve got something for you, so why not contact us and get involved. Here are just some of the things we’ve got happening:
Throughout 2010 - Volunteering Opportunities
March - Manchester City F.C. Match Day Collection
We are looking for volunteers to join us at the City of Manchester Stadium to collect before the match
8 May - Two Cities Boat Race
The annual Two Cities Boat Race will be eagerly contested between Manchester and Salford Universities and in 2010 Macmillan Cancer Support are proud to be Charity Partner for the event
June - The Great Escape

24 September - The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
Be part of something big and take part in Macmillan’s flagship fundraising event! For more details visit www.macmillan.org.uk/coffee
